The 1,000 Indonesian Rupiah banknote is the seventh largest denominated banknote in the 2016 series minted by Bank Indonesia.  It features the marking "Seribu Rupiah" on its face, which translates to "one thousand rupiah" in English and is a yellow color contrasted by red and purple highlights.
